Slyva Has Taken Charge Of Her Life And Her Dreams

After living through domestic violence, Slyva has taken charge of her life and her dreams. Throughout her journey, she focused her employment goals on serving others. She is proud of the support she received from Goodwill-Easter Seals and has since referred many family members, friends and neighbors to the programs and people who helped her. She currently works as a personal care assistant for a person with disabilities and as an administrative assistant at Lutheran Social Services' Eastside Financial Center—one of our many partner organizations that help us bring the power of work to our communities.
