Koami

When Koami arrived in the United States two and a half years ago, he felt like a small fish in a stormy sea. He had big dreams, and knew he had to find support for learning English and finding a career. He found out about Goodwill-Easter Seals' college and career navigation program, which helped him with a self-assessment and exploring good career options.

While supporting himself, Koami enrolled in college where he is studying to be a surgical technician and in order to work in the high-demand field of health care. While working, he'd maintained a 4.0 GPA and found time to volunteer in the community.

"Thank you so much for supporting Goodwill-Easter Seals. They have many good programs, and I think Goodwill is changing people's lives amazingly. I'm planning one day to return the favor when I will be able to give back."
